Skid Drilling

ITL skid drill setups have been custom designed and configured to optimize performance and increase ergonomics for a safe work environment, with unitization of all motorized equipment to ensure peak performance in extreme temperatures and inclement weather. Rod sloops, supply pumps and centrifuges are all contained within sealed and heated units. ITL's skid drill shacks are insulated and also include sealed floor pans for berm catchment of drill wastes on environmentally sensitive projects.

Heli-Drilling

ITL crews are seasoned and confident with respect to execution of heli-supported drilling programs. With cornerstone experience on helicopter programs in mountainous regions of British Columbia, ITL's drilling professionals are versatile, capable and focused. ITL's drills are specially designed to be modular and can be configured to reduce pick weights specific to the lifting capacity of the helicopter available. Coupled together, these are key factors allowing ITL to successfully execute heli-supported programs in various regions across Canada.

Ice Drilling

Successful slinging of casing requires precise calculations and measurements, systematic process and knowledge that can only be gained through experience.  ITL has adapted the use of an underwater drone, capturing live video of the casing string and sling cables guaranteeing successful execution every single time. 

Directional Drilling

Successful setting of wedges to re-direct borehole trajectories towards a target zone requires specific measurements, systematic process and knowledge that can only be gained through experience. ITL's drill professionals have been fortunate to work on large programs requiring frequent wedging to reach tight target zones. This has provided an opportunity for ITL to gain considerable experience, successfully setting over 125 Clappison and steel-bypass wedges in recent years.
